The Irish and the Amish

Hello! Tonight's update needs to be quite as I have to get up at the crack of dawn for our tour of London tomorrow. Taught my English class today and I just have the best students all around. They wanted to work on presentation skills so I had them give speeches. Every one of them did a fantastic job. Katrina, my helper, for some reason mentioned the Amish and then they all wanted to know what "an Amish" was. It was pretty funny trying to explain it to them. They really had a hard time understanding why someone would voluntarily live in that way, but then again, so do I. We ended the day at a traditional Irish pub for dinner tonight which was fantastic. My next paper is due Friday (ugh), so I am frantically trying to get this week's readings done. Right now, just trying to finish Mrs. Dalloway (fun, fun!). That's all for tonight, I'm off to bed so that I can run around London tomorrow. :)
